The story of a photographer
Hello again. As mentioned on the Home Page, my name is McKenzie.
So who am I?
I am a Guyanese born, Barbadian raised female Photographer. My grandparents were Barbadian and Barbados has been my home since my toddler years.
Although photography was not always on my radar of careers, I would not change the series of events that introduced me to it. I stumbled into it during my early 20's and fell in love with the artform. During my nine plus years as a Photographer, I've been blessed to photograph many different persons and experiences that helped to hone my craft.
I have shot from maternity, corporate head-shots to university graduates to name a few. As a mother though, my passion is children and families, hence why I have now chosen to focus my photography in that direction.
There is something special about bringing families together with a photograph. Think about all the times you came across an old photo with your family or friends and you simply started smiling from the good memories that came flooding in. That feeling is what I hope to bring & capture with every maternity, newborn, children and family shoot.
When you book a photo session you will find me to be professional, patient and personable with a touch of a silly side because I believe photo shoots should ultimately be fun and memorable.
